From  16th March to 3rd June 2020, Sicilian and Thessalonian SMEs can request a voucher with a value of  € 8,000 to be spent on workplace innovation services, goods, tools and best practices in order to encourage and motivate local enterpreneurs to effectively adopt these solutions addressed to employees and increase their productivity and company’s competitiveness.

No, they cannot, the Voucher is addressed exclusively to micro and small enterprises

Yes, it is possible doing so, but the workplace innovations to which the call makes reference are mainly aimed at employees to improve their well being at work. Thus, if there are not employees the evaluation can be negative because not in line with project’s objectives.

Not necessarily, in the application form you will find “open questions”. Of course, during the evaluation phase, as also indicated in the evaluation grid, applications with more information and details, proving the feasibility of the project, will receive a better score.

Yes, the amount will be paid after the implementation of the initiatives and the presentation of a report, as specified in art. 8 and 9 of the call. However, beyond JO Consulting’s scrutiny the European Commission has the faculty to perform further spot-checks to verify the truthfulness of the reports.

The voucher foresees a flat rate non-repayable contribution of the value of €8.000 for the implementation of innovations within a company. Therefore, it is not a reimbursement but a bonus for the best projects, evaluated for what concerns their coherence with the objectives of the call.

Each enterprise can apply for one voucher. If they are two different companies the answer is yes, they can both participate.

No, individuals who are not registered at a Chamber of Commerce cannot apply for a voucher.

No, the expenses for the implementation of the good practices must be incurred only after the application. During the reporting phase must be indicated the differences, in terms of benefits for the working environment, between before and after the implementation of the activities foreseen by the project.
